I am a bit peeved that the movers are taking so long to get our stuff out of storage. It’s been nearly 3 hours. It didn’t take us 3 hours to put the stuff into storage so why is it taking longer to get it out?
They are going to head to lunch so while they are doing that we are probably going to clear out of Brian’s place.
The neighbors here have an entertaiment center blocking most of the walk way. I think they are home now. They weren’t before so we couldn’t get them to move it. I’ll have Brian ask them later.
I fear we are going to run out of daytime with how long this is taking. I guess we will have to get Kaylee’s bed together first then go on to ours or just lay the mattress on the ground.
You probably are asking, how am I posting this? Easy. It’s a wordpress app!
Tomorrow is move in day for Brian and I. Hopefully it goes well. We don’t need anymore stress that’s for sure. Luckily these movers we’ve used before and they were great. Also they have a local office with one front desk person, so they’re a small but good moving company. They are reasonably priced as well and fast, they did it under the 3 hour minimum last time for us. So I’m not worried about them.
First thing tomorrow morning after saying our goodbyes and probably seeing a bunch of tears from GMA because Kaylee won’t be here anymore, I am to go drop off Kaylee at school. Then I have to head to the bank and get the cashiers check. After that I have to go pick up the keys to the apartment. Then head back to storage and see how things are going there. Then they’ll take the stuff from storage and move it over to the apartment. Then once that’s done, I’ll probably by that time have to pick up Kaylee from school but GMA Pam will be here to watch Kaylee in the afternoon. Then we’ll head over to Brian’s “house” and pick up his stuff and take it to the appropriate locations.
Then once that is done we’ll head back over to storage and break down the hutch that is extremely broken and take it back to the apartment in pieces to throw away in the dumpster. After that it’s put together our bed, Kaylee’s bed and if we have time left, the dresser for Kaylee’s room. I did want to go grocery shopping but I might leave that for Saturday. We’ll see.
It’s going to be an emotional day here for sure. I tend to look at the good of things, we’re moving back in together and working through our issues and so forth. My mom worries, as would any mother, and of course she’s going to miss Kaylee. But think of it. No more having to hear her whine before bed or when she doesn’t get her way. It won’t be so damn messy all the time. Kaylee is getting her bed back, something she’s wanted for a while. We’ll visit often, we always did before.
I’m sure they’ll miss my cooking though.
Can you believe though that a year ago this week I was moving into my mom’s house. Now I’m moving out. I wish there was a way to erase the past, and just wish it never happened but it can’t be erased. But we’re starting over and I hope that this is the last time we’ll have to go through something like this.

No not the packing. No not the moving part itself, we hire people to do it for us.
It’s the planning I do. I don’t sleep, probably won’t at all, because I’ve been planning out rooms.
For instance Kaylee’s and the babies room. I have to figure out how to get four (yeah four) pieces of furniture into the room. A bed (full-size), a large closet/dresser thing, a dresser and a crib. Oh and two night stands. One night stand for Kaylee and one for the crib. It will all fit into the room no problem, we had more in there before.
So here is my idea for the girls room:
I think this will work out well for the girls. The baby will be in our room for a few weeks until she’s sleeping through the night. Then over to the crib she will go.
In the living room we’ll have the TV table, a desk, the rocking chair, sofa and then the toy box. I just have to figure out how that will all work out.
So I have a plan so far, but more thinking will probably come.
