The HI Drama

About a year ago, and I’m not sure if I posted about this I’ll have to look through my archives to see. (Yes I have, apparently password protected, but I unprotected them to tell the story if you want to read.)

To add a bit to the story above I was also threatened with the cops being called on me and the FBI if I remained in Angela’s group or spoke with her. I knew these were empty threats because what the hell did I do in the first place, but seriously it was all too much in general. Luckily it calmed down, mainly because I think Judy  (J in the other post) realized she was wrong and had accused someone of something they didn’t do.

Anyhow a year has passed, oddly enough can you believe it’s coming back up in the same month? And about two to three weeks ago Lori accused someone in the Hyperinsulinism support group of being a fake. Then the “shit hit the fan” again. Judy explained Lori’s cautious behavior off on this crap that happened a year before. I had no idea Lori had even been involved the previous year so this was news to me. I posted back that paranoia over the incident last year made no sense seeing as they were wrong in the first place and they were the harassers. That didn’t go over well of course. LOL!

I left the group, I can’t deal with liars and it’s what they are, plain and simple, liars. Well I figured it would end since the group did fracture, those who believe Judy and Lori stayed in the Hyperinsulinism group, the others went to another group who didn’t have a shit load of liars.

But apparently us leaving wasn’t enough for Lori or Judy. Lori sends out an email to several people, including me, stating she has proof that Angela is a fake. Oddly enough even with all this so called proof she never has ever sent it to me. So she’s either lying or she’s misinformed. I can’t tell because she’s never sent me a damn thing so I’ll go with liar until I see otherwise.

I clear up a misunderstanding between me and Lori, basically she’s a judgmental bitch who thinks if treatment isn’t done how it was done for the kids she took care of, then you’re doing it wrong and feels that it’s appropriate to call people on it. She fails to recognize that the kids aren’t all the same. And hell I’ll do what my doctor says over what she says any day.

Well come to find out these two people with apparently nothing better to do than harassing a non-profit organization have really gone above and beyond this time around. I mean they were insane the first time around, calling the cops on Angela and so forth, but this time they’re harassing everyone who is in the other group (except me of course because I told them already I think they’re a bunch of liars and were wrong). They’re on Facebook intimidating people and threatening people. They’re privately emailing people and causing a bunch of issues.

Thing is you don’t get non-profit status just willy nilly. It’s one hell of a process. And Angela has been verified by the state of TX as a real person and issued non-profit status on her charity. I think that Lori and Judy are just pissed they were called out on the charity they are (or were in Lori’s case) involved in, lack of doing anything for Hyperinsulinism. Angela’s charity already has managed to raise money, works with a doctor who is one of the leading researchers in the disorder, has a Hyperinsulinism walk scheduled for September, a conference scheduled, and some rather big things that will be happening (big names within Texas are getting involved) during this year. What’s the other charity doing? Nothing. A conference in San Diego that you have to pay for of course. They don’t do any real fundraising, no walks, nothing. Hell they can’t even take the time to update their site.

It’s just annoying to see a charity that’s actually willing to help children with Hyperinsulinism be attacked by these two people all because of a tiff they had with the person who runs it. The inability to accept they were wrong, that they make false accusations, that they were immature jackasses. So instead of accepting it and letting it go, they’ve continued their stupid campaign against this charity, a verified charity in TX and by the Federal Government.

I’ve heard that a lawsuit was filed against at least two of these people, if not more (although I can’t find any record of that online but I think I’d need the case number to narrow it down anyhow). I’d be interested in knowing what’s happening with it. They wanted me to be involved but honestly with a newbie on the way and possible diagnosis of the disorder with her, I don’t have the time to do it. I said they could use whatever they wanted that involved me but that I couldn’t be actively involved in it.

Anyhow that’s today’s drama in the Hyperinsulinism arena. I just wish they would let it go and stop harassing people. But apparently that’s too much to ask of adults.
