More evolved…
Someone told me yesterday, not sure why, that humans are the only animals who have intercourse during pregnancy. Every other animal doesn’t.
Now that got me thinking and I’m sure I could look this up if I wanted but I don’t. It was interesting. The person said it’s because we have this need to show affection to our partners, but that for some reason we never think past intercourse as a way to show it.
Intimacy doesn’t have to involve just sex. It can be so many other things. And it can be as simple as cuddling.
Well in general it doesn’t really matter, it’s safe to have intercourse while pregnant, I just found the whole thing interesting.
In pregnancy news I am itching all over. I’ve heard this can be a side effect of pregnancy in general but I tend to think it’s my allergies acting up. But it’s a bit annoying. I would take a Zyrtec but it makes my heart go insane and frankly I can handle itching, not the heart thing.
I have a craving for McDonalds fries. LOL! And a burger. With Kaylee my burger craving came on later in pregnancy as well. Sadly I crave a burger but always regret having one afterwards. They’re never as good as you think. Although oddly enough McDonalds has fast become my favorite burger for some reason. I used to hate McDonalds, but not anymore.
Going to maybe go to Patti’s softball game tonight. Not sure because dinner won’t be done, unless her game is at 7:45pm. We’ll see.
Just a random thought, they say people are angry (only half the US is angry the other half is happy) and yeah I’m angry. Why? Because people are selfish, uninformed, and just plain immature. Welcome to politics these days. Giving out false information and deciding to basically not do your job because you didn’t get your way. Well boohoo for you!

Annabelle is the newest addition to our family.
Right now she loves to eat, sleep, and make faces. She's healthy and shows no signs of having Hyperinsulinism.
Aunti Patti is an occasional contributor on this blog. She works at "the Bank" and her family consists of her dog, cat, and fish.
She loves visiting with her nieces, plays softball, and is an insane NASCAR fan.
Burger craving is probably your body’s way of getting you to eat some iron. I itched in my first pregnancy too. I think it is just the skin stretching so much.
