That didn’t go well…

I spent most of my free time today working on converting my site to Joomla over WordPress. Guess what? Didn’t happen. LOL! There is no real easy way to import my posts over to Joomla which I think is just plain crap that Joomla makes it hard to do that. I have, counting this post, 993 posts I’ve written over the last year and a half. They have to be insane to think that I’d either just not care about those posts anymore or manually put all those posts in Joomla. So although I like Joomla a lot, I don’t like it enough to just give up 993 posts.

Other than that, something I saw today confused me. I was going to comment on it but decided it wasn’t something to do over on FB. All I have to say to these people is at least you had a father. Sometimes people bitch about how “bad” things were for them as kids because their parents weren’t perfect (not things like abuse, just parenting that some people might say What? Why? to).  But at least they had parents that cared, even if they made some questionable choices at times. And I look at it like this, I don’t see anything remotely bad in the love these two had for their children at all. But I see bitching by the kids. Frankly you can’t bitch until you’ve dealt with abuse and having a parent abandon you. Try focusing on the good, not the bad because in the grand scheme of parenting, they had some pretty damn good ones.
