Post 550…

Look I didn’t even miss it. I just happened to be wondering how many posts I had and it said 549 and I was like COOL! Now I can do a proper 550th post because I didn’t get to do it on 500. So lets recap the last 550 posts on this blog.

I started using WordPress as my blog system in July 08 and made my first official WordPress blog post on July 27th, 2008.

I average about 2.5 (or so it says) posts a day. Typically this sounds about correct. To think though that I have over 500 posts in under year.  So yeah that’s today’s milestone.

If all works out we’ll be moving at the end of the month to the other end of the valley into a house. It’s 3 bedroom, 2 bath and it’s not huge but the bedrooms are. It’s the first house we’ve seen that had a master bedroom that will actually fit our furniture. They even said it was okay to paint as long as we painted it back to white when we move which makes sense. It’s through a management company so we don’t have to deal with a person in regards to fixing things and so forth. So that’s good. The backyard is mostly dirt but I figured they wouldn’t care if I went back there and threw some seed down to make the grass grow.

What’s cool is I can throw Kaylee’s birthday party there! So that’s cool. And I can finally invite people over.

We’ll have one more month left on this place before the lease is up so we’ll move over the course of the week instead of in one day. We’ll hire people to move us and Brian will take the week off to help. I’ll paint Kaylee’s room, Ashley Pink Old Rose 3 is the color I like. Then we are going to buy her a princess bed (a real twin bed) and put the crib in the 3rd room. I want to buy her a daybed basically. One with storage drawers under it. I’m not sure where to buy one at though. I’ll have to look around. I can’t spend too much money on it though and we’d need to buy her a mattress as well.

Anyhoot I’m excited. I’m not too happy about living on the other end of the valley but it’s okay in the end. It’s closer to the gym and most of our playgroup stuff is done on the east end anyhow. There is a park right down the street as well.
