To go or not to go…

I'm debating cancelling my doctor's appointment for next week with the Endocrinologist. Kaylee's doctor doesn't seem to think it needs to be done, that I'm okay as I am. My test results for the blood work came back with my insulin being high even after a 18 hour fast. Now I'm not exactly thin so it's hard to tell why the insulin was still high, if it has to to with the disorder or if it has to do with being fat. Everyone seems to agree though that I'm "fat" partly because of this disoder. So it would be nice to get it fixed if possible but there may not be anything to do either. I just don't want to go to have the doctor basically say we'd need to do a whole bunch of tests before anything else. I mean I understand that it may be needed but they're a hassel. What would be even worse would be to have the doctor say that nothing is wrong. Maybe though suggesting the use of Glucophage will be a good idea because if I have higher insulin due to Hyperinsulinism then it might help tell my pancreas what to do and if I have high insulin due to being obese then it would be good to help with that. Glucophage is often used for pre-diabetics so in either situation it would fit since I was just right above the line. We'll see.
It's really cold in this house I tell you what. On the subjects of houses we've decided to downgrade our search criteria and go with two bedroom condos or townhomes instead of houses now. Finding a home in this city is damn near impossible in our price range so we have to go another route. We could continue to rent but owning sounds like a better idea right now. If we can't find anything by end of March we'll be renting for sure.
