Mommy needs a vaca…

Sometimes I think it would be great to just go on a vacation by myself or with some friends. For instance there is this Mom 2.0 Summit that sounds pretty cool and might even help me with ideas for getting more hits to the site and making money and so forth. Of course it’s not exactly cheap to register in the first place and then add plane fare and hotel costs it’s way out of budget. Plus it’s not like I know anyone in the blogsphere to hang out with while there so it wouldn’t prove to be fun. Also what would Brian do with Kaylee?

When I do vacations I like to do things. I know people like to relax, but I actually like to do things so that makes vacations more expensive and doing things is often better with someone else. I guess I want a vacation that just involves me going and not doing the actual planning and worrying about costs and how we’re getting there and so forth.

I like going to Expos though. They’re cool. I’m going to the Baby Celebration expo in April but that’s in April. I really wish there was an expo here in Los Angeles that I could go to. One thing I really wanted to go to was the Homeschool Association Conference which is up in Sacramento. I forget when exactly (June I believe) but I think it would be cool. It’s a two day event so I’d need air fare as well as a hotel stay. So not possible.

So that’s just a few of my thoughts on Mommy Vacation possibilities that will never happen.
