My not so nice experience at Picture People…

I’ve always had great experiences with Picture People but often have heard about horrible experiences and today I had one of those experiences.

We went in at 11am for our appointment (I wasn’t a walk in) but weren’t seen until 11:30 which was understandable. They took great shots and about 10 minutes after the shots were done they sat me down to look at the pictures and pick which ones I wanted.

I did so and then sat for 40 minutes waiting for a rep to come help me. Apparently your photographer is supposed to help you go through pictures but apparently ours decided instead of helping me to sneak out and go to lunch instead. Finally I just flat out said “I need to order pictures we’ve been waiting for an hour.” Sadly this didn’t really get anyone’s attention.

Thank God I guess for kids throwing tantrums but Kaylee had had enough by this time and was not happy so I asked another person (the third person of the morning) and she said she’d get someone to help me. No one came. Finally I figured out who the manager was of the store and went to him and he helped me. But seriously?

I did though finally join their Picture club thingy so that I can get some discounts in the future since we go so often. I was just amazed at how unorganized it was today. Perhaps it’s because of the holiday season or something. Very annoying indeed.
