Ramblings of a Stay at Home Mom!

Now this is funny right there…

So McCain has admitted to knowing little to nothing about modern technology. He doesn’t use the internet and can’t send an email, his staff does that for him.

Today Obama’s campaign sent out an email announcing they’ll be annoucing Obama’s VP nomination through email and text message first. I signed up although I think it’s a bit stupid, but hey whatever. I want to know when it happens.

On Digg.com one of the commenters though said the following:

So I guess McCain won’t be hearing about it for a while.

Probably. I mean unless he’s deciding to get the text message on his phone which I some how doubt he really knows how to use, other than answering it, I guess he won’t hear about it for a while.

I really don’t think anyone, from either political party, in that position would make a decision on anything without doing research and consulting with SME’s!

Aren’t there way more important issues to focus on rather than this?

    P.S. I love you!

I guess for someone like you and probably the bulk majority of the nation who isn’t really into the computer stuff that this may not seem like a big deal but one of the major issues, at least for the tech community that the next President is going to have to decide is Net Neutrality and I don’t know how a President who hasn’t used the internet could even begin to understand that issue and decide it correctly. Although even if he was up and up on internet stuff being a Republican he’d probably decide wrong anyhow and then we’d be charged out the ass to use our internet because we’re lowly residential customers.

I mean seriously if you can’t keep up with modern technology how can you decide on it? Even Grandpa is up on modern technology.
